Brisith Museum - April 2007

I've always been a fan of egyptology and when looking for tourist style places to go in London, the British Museum was high on the list. Although I was disappointed with how busy the place was and hence how difficult it was to get good shots amid the other few thousand tourists, these are the shots I liked the most from this set.

 

London Eye - April 2007

I'm not a great fan of heights so this was not my first choice of sightseeing locations. Having been on the eye now, I would say it's okay during the day, but I imagine it would be much better for non-Londoners to take an evening/night flight so you get the city all lit up.

 

Kirkstall Abbey - Leeds - March 2007

I first saw this abbey when a friend drove me past it one evening. It was flood lit from ground level and looked really impressive. I knew then I would have to get back out there so I could get some photos.
